THE OPPORTUNITY

We are recruiting for, in a fixed term 12-month capacity a Process and Compliance Manager. Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will see you managing our Procurement, AP, AR and Contractor Compliance teams, ensuring deadlines and team objectives are met.

 

Our successful candidate will manage the Stakeholder relationship with City Global Support Services in Australia and Malaysia

 

The role will be responsible for:

  • Effectively manage self and all team members in order to prioritise workloads ensuring departmental goals and objectives are met on an individual and team level
  • Maintain an adequate level of technical / systems knowledge to be able to field enquiries from Team members and from within the City Group
  • Coach and Lead the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement and Contractor Compliance teams, ensuring required standards are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure purchase orders and invoices are appropriately authorised and are compliant, as per City procedures, and paid within agreed supplier terms as required
  • As needed, ensure all contractors and suppliers meet Company requirements for contractor registration

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A Cert III/IV – Business or similar
  • Above 3 years’ experience in Accounting and/or Finance management – Highly desirable
  • High level numeracy and reconciliation skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with figures – Essential
  • Advanced level of computer literacy and Microsoft Office skills – Essential
  • Previous management of dynamic, busy teams - Essential
  • Proven organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks – Essential
  • Ability to work independently and liaise with Senior Management – Essential
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills – Essential
